Angelika Kuehn Angelika Kuehn
After 40+ years of practicing law, Angelika Kuehn is now retiring. She is ready to embrace new adventures here and abroad. Angelika Kuehn began her legal career in 1975 in a Chicago based international law firm representing European commercial ventures. Expanding her practice into the areas of urban redevelopment and finance and commercial recapitalization, she worked as a partner in a large Chicago law firm until 1988. She was awarded a year-long fellowship in Germany by the Robert Bosch Foundation, studying integration of the European economies. During that year she also co-authored a well-respected German text on commercial investment in the United States.

Impressed with the effective European system for responding to basic human needs, in 1989 Angelika founded and then served for three years as CEO of a community-based HIV/AIDS housing and social service organization. In 1992 she returned to the practice of law with the establishment of her own community-based law firm. She enlisted her expertise in finance and organizational development in the service of individuals, families and family-owned businesses and charitable organizations.

Angelika graduated cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law. She has been honored by community groups and civic organizations for her volunteer initiatives. She is a frequent speaker in seminars on estate planning and charitable giving topics.
